SEND Pedagogy benchmark hero

As an extension to the Pedagogy Benchmark, we wanted to test an area of pedagogical knowledge important for equity and inclusion: Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) specific pedagogy.

We used a separate set of questions from the Chilean Ministry of Education's professional development exams for teachers, focused on SEND-specific pedagogy knowledge.

Differences in performance between this and the original Pedagogy Benchmark highlight the additional challenges in SEND-specific pedagogy knowledge and the availability of quality resources in this area.
